Section 1: One of the themes for the book could be that the greed of one can affect others around. One of the ladies in the book has a stash of books hidden in her house, but the firefighters find out that she is hiding them and burn the books, her house, and even her. The lady is killed because she hid books from the firefighters and just because they don't like books, they take it all away from her.
Section 2: Another theme for this book could be that you'll never know what you have until it is gone. In the modern day, people take things for granted especially books. Typically, people would rather spend their time watching television or laying video games, but as soon as they are taken away from from everyone, those people have nothing to turn to. Over the course of a few days, tragic things begin happening to Guy Montag. He has to find a solution to the problems around him, but the only way he can find the solution is to turn to books.
Section 3: Individuality is what separates us all from one another. In the beginning of the novel, Guy Montag was just a normal man whose job it was to set books on fire and the houses that contain them. This being every fireman's mindset, there is no difference between any of them. However, at the end of the book, Guy begins to enjoy reading and everything books have to offer.
